Wireless in Winnipeg: The University of Winnipeg launched a new and improved wireless service on May 23. The new service has 8 times the capacity of the old system, broader coverage, and secure connectivity.  UW Wireless

More Wireless in Winnipeg: The University of Manitoba is also upgrading its wireless service through the Wireless "N" Project. This initiative started in February and will bring wireless services to several key building across campus. "N" Wireless

HR Goes Live: The HR PeopleSoft module went live at Queen's University last week. This milestone concluded the multi-year project and the University looks forward to reaping the benefits. Instructing in the Digital Age: Trent University and Fleming College jointly hosted the "Instructing in the Digital Age: Teaching and Learning Symposium" last month. The conference showcased interactive pedagogies, new and interactive modes of delivery, and the use of digital technology in the classroom. Trent and Fleming

Wireless in ... Vancouver: Douglas College is also upgrading its wireless service. The College has signed a contract with Bell Canada to implement Aruba wireless technology at both of its campuses. The new service will quadruple the number of access points. Douglas Wireless
